What Is The Art Of Successful Living?
Do we truly know the definition of the art of successful living? The art of successful living, for those not in the know is the ability and uncanny way that some people are able to just attract success and opportunity to their doors. Some may even give it a more sinister term, like ‘luck of the devil’, because their uncanny ability to draw success to themselves seem almost supernatural, too good to be true, as though they may have sold their souls to the devil in order to obtain such a success. They are King Midas, a leprechaun, Don Juan Demarco and Donald Trump wrapped in a low fat tortilla wrap. Most of us envy these people, we envy their luck, their successes, and we yearn to become just like them and embrace the art of successful living. Do you have what it takes?
The truth of the matter is, success doesn’t come easy. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and most of those success stories you’ve heard about would most likely have been preceded by a story rife with struggles, hardship, and tribulation. It is a militaristic, strategy that attacks each and every point of negativity and failure in someone’s persona, their attitudes, their behaviours and even down to how they think. Forget about waking up one day and having success fall into your lap. You need to be a fighting machine, thrown to the dogs and climb the highest peaks of your character defects to reach the level of success that you want to have in your life at all times.
Most often, honing your current skillsets won’t be enough for you to achieve the success that you crave. You have to be open to the idea to the fact that you have to change what clothes you wear. Because image is important. How you portray yourself verbally is also important, because the ability to exude charisma from the inflection of your voice, the intonation, the confidence of your words, these are the little things that make a difference in how people perceive you and ultimately sold on you. You must resist the idea of retaining even a part of you that is negative, even down to how you write and shattering the effects of emotional inertia.
You have to live your dreams and I mean you must look in the mirror everyday until you cannot recognise the person you are looking at into the mirror. Who is this person that is smiling at you, dressed so well, with an easy confident smile, well groomed looks and a glow that comes from within?
The one integral factor in your endeavours to embrace the art of successful living is desire. That is the art of successful living and you must ask yourself if you have what it takes for this transformation. Are you ready to completely shed your identity and take on one that is better, smarter, more confident, that even others would have noticed the change? Can you let go of the past and leave it behind, even the failures that seem to dog at you and remind you and hold you back?
Don’t be afraid at all when it comes to change because the power of change cannot be measured in any terms. Live successfully. Change yourself.
