Would Wyclef Jean make a good president of Haiti?
Wyclef has announced his run for presidency in Haiti. It would be monumental for a rapper to become a president of any country. But do you think he’d do good?
Haiti has it’s share of problems and adding a “thief” to them would only make it worse. Wyclef if under fire now for stealing from his own nonprofit “HELE HAITI”…and he owes the U.S. Government $1.2 million in back taxes. He NEVER should have spent the $100,000 from the charity on the recording studio in NYC….that was wrong..no way around it. He cannot explain his way out of it. He’s doing dirty politics ALREADY!!! If you look at the HELE HAITI expenditures he had to show it and it’s there!!!! How he is going to fund this campaign really astounds me…he is DEEPLY in debt….he hasn’t lived there in years and may just be looking for a way to clear up his own financial situation.

Then you have Sean Penn who has been in Haiti working hand in hand with the people since the disaster and said he hasn’t seen Wyclef and made these statements yesterday on CNN:

I think he is a hugely talented musician and I love his music and have always supported him but he’s so in debt himself I don’t see how he can run for President of a country that is in the middle of a huge mess itself. He virtually has NO money and is in debt. The country deserves an honest person who knows the politics of the country and can run it honestly.
