I was a nightclub singer but my hearts’ desire is to sing gospel,how to start?
I sung material by otis redding, wilson pickett, james brown, ray charles and joe cocker but I now won’t to sing for jesus. I am just a singer and there in lies some of the problem as need players to work with. There is so much out there I am confused as to where to start. I know my voice is a gift from God and I won’t to use it for his glory not mine. And ideas? If not please pray in the name of Jesus that someone will help me. Thank You.
I would say start in church, most all churches could use a good singer. Find other Christian singers and ask them for help as well. Mostly pray about it, let the Spirit of God lead you. Don’t give up or give in, I’m very thankful that you’ve decided to use your God given talents for God. I will pray that the Spirit leads you wise. Trust in your self and your talent, and God will do the rest.
