How to tell guests invited to our wedding that the reception will follow the ceremony at the same place?
for invitations, i want to let guests now that dinner will be at the same place following the ceremony for guests that may be coming only for the reception, this will be at the bottom of the invitation
I’m a self admitted snob, so this might get a bunch of thumbs down, but I think you should put it on a separate card and not on the actual invite. I look at it like this, you have paid so much money for this beautiful invitation and you are going to junk it up be adding “Reception immediately following” tacked onto the bottom. It just really ruins the look and class of the invitation when you do this, to my eyes. The reception cards are only about $30 extra, I think its worth is to pay the money and conserve the beauty of your invitation.
Its ok to put the same address information on your reception card
