My mum absolutely loves Steven king…
She has asked for a book for Christmas but she has pretty much everything Steven king has written, so I wondered if there are any book worms out there that may be able to recommend something new?
Something that a Steven King fan would LOVE?

If you’re mom is really into Stephen King, you might check and see if she has a copy of his only non-fiction work, his memoir. It’s called “On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft.”
The first half of the book is King’s personal story of how he came to be a writer. It’s just out and out wonderful. The second half of the book is about being a writer, what that means and how he functions as a writer. Also fascinating. He talks a good bit about the accident that nearly killed him and how that changed his life.
One of King’s favorite horror authors is Peter Strauss. “Ghost Story” is my favorite.
It’s not horror, but Stephan King is a huge fan of “The Story of Edgar Sawtelle” by David Wroblewski. It’s a fairly new title that’s been on the NYT bestseller for several weeks. It is literary fiction based on the story of Hamlet. It’s beautifully written.
But I’m pushing for the King memoir for your mom, if she doesn’t already have it.
