What does friends ‘as if’ mean!!!??!

Please help :’f I’m like crying now I feel so horrible horrible. I was texting my friend and I was making fun of her OCD and I didn’t know rly what it was and then She said it was making her sad and I really like her but then she said “I feel like if we are friends then we are friends ‘as if’ ” please don’t call me a jerk I already know I am okay I’m such a horrible friend and can someone plz explain what she means by ‘as if’ ? Gosh I have like a thing where I take things too seriously and so cud u explain it in the most non hurtful way possible? That would be nice if you could. Thanks :’((((
