99 cadillac escalade only runs for a second or two then cuts off?
my buddy has a 99 escalade that someone tried to steal and screwed up the switch well it was replaced by a locksmith and when we try to start it it just start runs for a second or two then cuts off. anyone have any idea as to what might be wrong. or how to cut some wires and bypass something. oh and it a 5.7 vortec
Does your ignition have a 2″ diameter ring as part of the ignition ears? Another way to tell if its a MRD car is if there is NOT a resistor present in the key.
If so Leave your ignition on for 10 minutes until dash light stops flashing to program new ignition lock.
