What time do high schools in Texas practice cross country?

I’m moving to a town in Dallas and I was wondering what time cross country practice is there during the school year. I heard that typically it was before school.. Or is it first hour? My old school practiced after school, but I think it’s too hot in Texas to practice then! Oh and how much time do they give you to shower and get ready haha?

Most schools practice after school or even at night like a 6 or 7 when it is cooler. That way you dont have to be sweaty and gross for school .
