Teresa Brewer
Does anyone have any idea about the worth of old 78′srecords.I have 43 of well known artists and have no idea.

Artists like Benny Goodman, Al Jolson, Frankie Lane, the Show parade 1946-47 consisting of Oklahoma, Annie get your gun, St. Louis woman, Call me Misty, Finain’s Rainbow Carousel that is in a box set, Gene Autry, Teresa Brewer, Vic Damon, Hoagy Carmichael (3 record in case), Dick Kuhn, Jo Stafford, Eddie Fisher, Gene Autry, Carman Miranda and the Andrew Sisters,Tiny Hill, Arthur Godfrey, Tiny Bradshaw, Joe Turner, Bunny Paul, Earl Bostic, and many more. All of them are in very good condtion. They either have the record cover or they are in an old phono album. If someone could help me out I’d appreciate it. My neighbor who passed away at the age of 87 gave them to me and I have no knowledge of the 78′s records

A lot depends on condition, whether it’s a first issue and lots of factors. What you need to do first is to lern how to grade the condition and Goldmine magazine has books on this subject. Go to Krause.com and click on records and look over their books.

Teresa Stratas (Zeffirelli’s soprano of choice in one unforgettable pr…
