Karaoke in CT Caters to the Young and the Young Once
Our parents’ silver wedding anniversary coincides with my brother’s graduation so I thought of giving them a surprise party. Just being four in the family, however, I have nobody to join me in this exciting conspiracy so I turned to my cousins for help.
As regular party goers, they know exactly what my younger brother will enjoy. They suggested the pool would be a nice venue for a drinking binge, but what about Mom and Dad? Swimming pools do not appeal to them at all. They’d rather spend a quiet dinner with 40s and 50s ditties like Patti Page’s The Tennessee Waltz, (How Much is) That Doggie in the Window, Frank Sinatra’s Time After Time, and James Brown’s These Foolish Things (Remind Me of You) playing in the background.
On the other side of the ring, we have Marilyn Manson’s Tainted Love, I’m Only Happy When It Rains by Garbage, Daniel Powter’s Bad Day, and Green Day’s 21 Guns for my brother, Gav. How can we possibly mix all these songs from two generations too far apart to put up a great party?
Tina, the youngest of my cousins, suggested hiring Connecticut wedding djs as they are flexible in music. She tells us that these folks are famous for their entertaining karaoke in CT, too, that’s why they are practically on every wedding video in CT. Still I wondered why we would need two or three djs, isn’t one enough?
It was then that Tina explained the essence of having many djs was entertainment per se because each wedding dj from Connecticut boasts expertise in every music genre. They are equipped with the facilities and abilities to play old and current songs simultaneously to produce a new sound that gets a party going for hours.
Tina adds that availing the services of Connecticut djs will entitle us to the use of their state-of-the-art karaoke bar in CT. After our brainstorm, I got a clear picture in my head of how the party will turn out. We don’t really have to fork out hundreds of dollars for a high-end party venue as we can host my parents’ anniversary and Gav’s graduation party in the confines of our home and get a bang out of the performance of Connecticut’s renowned djs!
