crumbling 78 rpm record! Help!?

I was playing ted weems I wonder who’s kissing her now and noticed a click on every rotation that wan’t there before. So i picked up the record and felt some black debris come out of a crack. I don’t want to get rid of this record! Is it too late to rescue it?

that happens with records the more you play them the more they wear out, you could try to get it repressed by a specialty company
