Assign a task to each guardian (you must have two, at least): who is going to tank which monsters and who is going to tank adds.
Make them raid assists and have a third one just in case… assign a role tho him/her too
Define the order in which the mobs will be attacked and explain (or check if its the first time) what they do to see how they act.
Tell hunters to not use AoE (rain of arrows, thorsns, etc) since they may get aggro from other mobs. They will laso break some other skills from other members of the group.
Main assists should focus on th targets, failling to do so will distract other members and confuse them about which target to attack
Do a readycheck to see if everybody is on the game at the moment of attacking.
Minstrels can alternate their buffs (two minstrels or more recommended, same as tanks) in each group and can switch groups to do so.
1 Burglar is recommended to trigger FM and add more to the groups
2 hunters are recommended (or more) to finish things faster. Tanking is the main part of the deal but running out of power or dying because everything is effective but slow will not help.
Lore-Masters (2 recommended, too) to keep some dangerous mobs out of the battle (example: the hilmen ladies that heal). SAme as tanks, should be assigned a task.
- Stay away from Barz when he says “Ill Gnaw your bones”. He will do an instakill onthe nearest player.
- When Barz says “No power is stronger then Barz” he will get power from a random character. minstrels should NOT heal while he says this or they will get aggro.
Some Rift Basics:
- Designate Raid Assists for each group and maybe more for different situations.
- Make sure everyone have at least: 2 or more Tokens of +5 hope. Food, fear and poison salves (Green and Pink ones).
- Make sure everyone have enough time (at least 2 hours).
- Minimum recommendations for classes: 2 Minstrels a Burglar and a LM. DPS can be splitted between champs and hunters. Captains for extra buffs and support.
- Be clear about loot rules. Good rewards there, people gets greedy
the path that leads to The Rift is at Barad Gularan following the large road that borders the mountain. Once in Barad Gularan turn right and descend throughthat road, then turn left. The path follows under a bridge or structure.
This quest requires a solid group, not full though.
