Is there a better pianist than Sviatoslav Richter?

Please recommend me if you think there is.

He was certainly one of the greats… but there are many whose recordings rival his and whose technique is equal… or in some cases better.
Relative merit is difficult to assign – in many cases it depends on what part of the repertoire is being played.
