Supremes Sing
Why have singing styles changed over the years?
Women used to sing like The Supremes, but the norm now seems to be Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey style.
Men used to sing like John Lennon/Bob Dylan, which has also changed.
Every time I listen to an older song, I can’t help but notice that the way people sang in the 60′s and 70′s is DRASTICALLY different from how modern day singers sing. Any explanations or insights on this?
I guess different music changes every year or so.
I was a big fan of Mariah Carey for quite sometime, maybe up until 1999. When real music stopped being produced.
