Did Gym Class Heroes pay royalties for sampling Supertramp’s chorus and melody in “Cupid’s Chokehold”?

I certainly hope you all know about the existence of one of Supertramp’s most famous songs, “Breakfast in America,” which is where GCH got the chorus and melody for “Cupid’s Chokehold.” So my question is just, did they pay royalties? They better have… Supertramp gets the credit for the stuff they “sampled.”

Not sure, but it doesn’t seem like anyone in my city realizes that GCH did not come up with it. The radio station asked listeners to call in with their thoughts about GCH and every kept saying “they’re so original.” retards…..
