JetBlue Super Fly: JFK to BOS. How far in advance must I purchase a ticket? Is it a good ride?
JetBlue Super Fly: JFK to BOS. How far in advance must I purchase a ticket? And has anyone actually flown this route with Jet Blue? Is it an easy on time trip?
I haven’t flown that particular route, but JetBlue is a great airline. I’ve flown them back east from the west coast to get to work, and they treated me like a queen. The cost, on there website you can book a round trip flight tomorrow for as low as $90 out at 6:30am and coming back on the next day for $70 on the 7:50pm flight, of course this doesn’t include taxes. However, on the on-time bit, anytime you are flying out of Kennedy you have to look at the time of day. Between 10:00am and 8:00pm, there is normally a 45+min line (20+40 airplanes deep most of the day) this is on a sunny day. Throw a little wind into the mix, and add 15-30 min, a little rain add some more …. all New York City airports (EWR is also lumped in w/ JFK & LGA) have more traffic than space, I don’t know of any airlines that don’t have delays on a regular basis out of this airport. If you have to be somewhere at a certain time I’d suggest the train runs a lot closer to ontime.
