This Year’s Eggs

April is almost over and stores are still filled with Easter egg gadgets for all type of purposes and in all possible dimensions. Of course, as every year, the stores barely sold a few of them, and now they are left with an amazing stock full of discounts.

  1. The odd egg splitter is a little cup shaped as a face, in witch you place un-boiled eggs, to set apart the egg white. This will come out a nostril…
  2. The binary code egg, witch is a regular egg painted in black and green with ones and zeros.
  3. The mobile phone egg, is a small phone with four basic functions, specially designed for small children.
  4. There’s a lamp looking like a pack of eggs, which has been commercialized this year.
  5. Egg chairs, witch are quite pleasant and are really comfortable.
  6. For people with bad circulation, there’s the hand warmer shaped as an egg.
  7. Someone invented a very small egg printer. It doesn’t print eggs, but it’s shaped like one.
  8. The cheap ipod case that’s shaped like an egg and rounds the player a bit around the edges.
  9. Then, we have the speakers shaped like an egg, which can be used as a useful accessory for cell phones and mp4 players.
  10. A device with a terrifying name is the egg crusher. It’s not anything spooky though, it’s only used for crushing boiled eggs.
  11. The egg mp3 player is an mp3 player, just as the title says. With a few basic functions, this device can do a good job, but unfortunately it’s harder to carry around since it’s all roundly and white.

This is just a small list of the oddest of them all. The full list would be too large to even consider enumerating. But I’m sure that a simple browsing through local stores will reveal plenty egg treasures at discounted prices, best deals for deal hunters. Even if this year’s „egg period” is gone, there’s no need to let go some of the amazing offers you might stumble across.

Doors

Doors

$5.10

On their 1967 debut album, the Doors more than fulfilled the promise of their infamously challenging gigs around Los Angeles throughout the previous year. Whether belting out a standard like “Back Door Man” or talk-singing such originals as “The Crystal Ship” and “I Looked at You,” leather-clad vocalist Jim Morrison exuded both sensuality and menace. The mixture, on the outsize album finale, “The …

Even darker than their purple-hued debut, the Doors’ follow-up, Strange Days, closed 1967 with an ominous flourish. Highlighted mostly by short, radio-friendly tunes such as the bluesy “Love Me Two Times” and the cabaret-style “People Are Strange” and featuring a smattering of edgy recitations (“Horse Latitudes”) and smoky rockers (“My Eyes Have Seen You”), the album features a centerpiece that wa…

James Cameron wrote the script for this not-so-futuristic science fiction tale about a former vice cop (Ralph Fiennes) who now sells addicting, virtual reality clips that allow a user to experience the recorded sensations of others. He becomes embroiled in a murder conspiracy, tries to save a former girlfriend (Juliette Lewis), and has a romance with his chauffeur and bodyguard (Angela Bassett). C…

Batman: The Animated Series, Volume Two (DC Comics Classic Collection)

$29.93

The early-’90s Batman series was probably the best animated superhero show ever, mixing stylish animation with a dark tone appropriate for the Dark Knight. The second volume, comprising four discs of 28 episodes and vastly preferable to the many single-disc releases, features familiar characters the Joker, Catwoman, the Penguin, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, as well as the first appearances of the Riddle…
