Why do Koreans get angry when I say something good about the Japanese?
I really like the Japanese and their culture. When I say something good about them, Koreans often get angry at me. What’s the dilly yo?
Not all Koreans do but it has a bit to do with what Japan did during WW2. China still bears scars from the Japanese invasion. They were as brutal as the Nazis, but kinda makes sense they were allies after all. But just imagine a people coming to country, slaughtering your people, enslaving your people, raping your people, and destroying your homes. The older generations that were around during that time have a developed hatred for the Japanese.
The Japanese used the Koreans; as forced labour workers, frontline conscripts(cannon fodder), comfort women(Sex Slaves).
So you can probably tell that didn’t over so well.
