En este documento se realiza un enfoque empírico en el periodo comprendido entre junio del 2001 y abril del 2010 y una aplicación de un modelo de vectores autoregresivos VAR para identificar el dinamismo de Colombia frente a dos de sus principales socios comerciales (Mexico y Estados Unidos), mediante la formulación de cointegración, por dos metodologías diferentes: Por un lado la propuesta realizada por Engel y Granger y por otro la realizada por Johansen, con esto buscamos las herramientas que permitan analizar la interpretación de las interacciones económicas para determinar la existencia del efecto domino.

This document is made with the empirical focus in a period between June 2001 and April 2010 puuting into practice a self-regresive vector model VAR to identify the Colombian dynamism facing its two main commercial members (Mexico and the USA) by means of the formulation of the co-integration and through two different methodologies. One the one hand, the Engel and Granger proposal but the other hand the Johansen proposal, so we can find the tools and analyzing the interpretation of the economical interactions to determine the existence of the domino effect.
