Why does he always want to go to clubs/bars?
My boyfriend makes it a point to go to clubs/bars at least once a week. I like going on occasion, but quite seldom compared to him. I don’t enjoy this whole scene, but I will go to please him even though he knows that I would prefer not to go. He does the whole dancing thing, I would rather sit and drink. If it is just the two of us, which isnt often, he still wants to go. What is up with this? He says he will eventually grow out of this phase, but I don’t expect it. What do you think
I should add that I live over six hours away so we rarely get any quality time together…and I dont think of getting plastered as quality time

If you were 30 minutes away, I’d say it’s what he likes, get over it, blah blah blah..
But you two live so far, so seeing each other needs to be quality time well spent. I mean, he should have his fun sometimes, but he needs to consider your fun too. Why not suggest something different? Like let him know you want to go to a museum or amusement park or something..
Personally, if you don’t lay something on the table, I’m going to suggest what I want to do, and I will choose that over staying at the house (unless sex games are at the house…).
As far as the distance changing my answer… I mean, even if you were 30 minutes away, you should also have your fun of course, but if you were 30 minutes away, then once a week isn’t a lot because I’d assume you saw each other more often and were not at bars during those times. But yeah, 6 hours away, that means you don’t get to see each other often
