Rubinstein Chopin

Off the beaten track piano concertos? Which are your favorites?
I love piano concertos. Play me something with an orchestra and a piano soloist and I will love it. I know most of the popular piano concertos and also play some of them in reduced form (Grieg/A min, Rubinstein/D min, Chopin/E maj.) One of my favorites is De Falla’s Nights in the Garden of Spain. So what others am I missing out on?
Hummel’s piano concertos are wonderful and certainly underappreciated. You may have trouble finding them, so try Stephen Hough’s on Chandos.[With Bryden Thomson and the English Chamber Orchestra]. I certainly think they are, in many respects, comparable with Chopins.
