Lynyrd Skynyrd fans- what do you think of these guys?
A short-lived spin-off of Skynyrd after the ’77 plane crash called The Rossington-Collins Band.
Here’s probably their best known song. I actually discovered them from an old Linda Blair movie I saw on tv many years ago. lol! This song played in the background during one scene. I looked them up & liked a lot of what I heard.

Funny story, my old bass player from my band when I was in high school accidentally left a taped copy of these guys in my car.
I used that cassette to tape Corrosion of Conformity’s Deliverance album, and that dude got PISSED!! Okay, it’s not that hilarious of a story.
However, I did get to hear the album a few times before I desecrated that copy. Actually, one of the tracks sounded like, or reminded me of, the original MTV theme song (the chord progression anyways)
Rossington is as much of a staple of that band as either of the VanZants, and I appreciate the fact that you are mentioning this oft-overlooked project
