John Lennon ~ classic Liverpudlian balladeer
Paul McCartney ~ see above
Ian McCulloch (Echo & the Bunnymen) ~ likely the best voice of the ’80s British new wave scene, but recently showing signs of ruin from years of smoking, alas
Bono (aka Paul Hewson) ~ superb voice, typical of the Celts, but as with Ian McCulloch, years of smoking are taking a toll
Thom Yorke (Radiohead) ~ incredible range and feeling
Liam Gallagher (Oasis) ~ love him or hate him, he has a fantastic voice
Steve Kilbey (The Church) ~ had to give you an obscure one; very gifted singer/songwriter from the best band to ever emerge from Australia (totally underrated, even ignored)
