Why say Better Midler 1988 sang original Wind Beneath My Wings when Roger Whittaker sang it in 1982?
Yeah, it annoys me sometimes too when people don’t realize who an original artist really is. But, the truth is that most people associate a song with the artist who made it popular or the most recent version they’ve heard, and Bette did make that song quite popular, which probably explains why alot of people associate that song with her. Don’t let it bug you too much, though. It happens all the time on here.
