How much more durable are the Rock Band 2 instruments compared to the original Rock Band instruments?
The Rock Band folks made some adjustments on the guitar to ensure that it didn’t come apart as easy as the first guitar.
For the drums they really quieted down the sound of the drums as they are less plasticy which may improve the longevity of them. The biggest adjustment they made was on the drum pedal which now is reinforced with a thin piece of metal to remove the chance of the pedal snapping which occurred quite often on the Rock Band 1 drum set.
