2 amps (Rear and Sub) on 1 rca out?
My HU (Sony MEX-BT2700) has two RCA outputs, one for Front and the other is Sub/Rear. I currently have an amplifier and a subwoofer connected to the Sub/Rear output. the amplifier I am currently running (JBL GTO752) as preamp outputs which allows me to hook up multiple amps, so I was wondering if I could hook up another, different amp to use for subwoofers and use my current amp for rear speakers while still having them both connected to the Sub/Rear output on my HU, would this cause any frequency issues with the amps/speakers? the HU manual says either sub or rear can be selected but nothing about running both at the same time.
That should work fine.
The outputs are unfiltered so you’d leave the HU setting to “rear”.
