Ray Barretto
Anybody listen to Ray Barretto?
Recently, I’ve been going to through a Latin Jazz/Soul phase. I listen to a good amount of Ray Barretto but I don’t have much literature on him so I don’t know what albums are considered part of the Barretto canon. I have “Hard Hands” and “Latin Soul Man”. What else should I have? Why? No compilations please. I will not give the 10 points for compilations.
I am a salsa DJ on Saturday nights on a radio station. Here is some of the original and best Ray you can look for. COMPILATIONS NOT INCLUDED but i have given you the site for those too below. This stuff is magical! So hot, it will knock your socks off.
