Why do people from Israel have blonde hair and light eyes higher than other Arabs and Asians?

It says blonde hair is very common among Ashkenazi Jews and is also found in Sephardi Jews too.
Here in my country Finland, we have lots of blondies. Last year I travelled to Israel and I was suprised to see lots of Israeli kids with blonde hair or ginger hair like the Irish!
Someone said that the Northern Iranians, Syrians and Azerbaijan people also have blonde hair.
But I know blonde is very rare in the Middle East and Asia.
How is that the Israelis have higher percentage light hair and light eyes?
I have red hair and blue eyes….!
