What’s India’s stance on Israel?
It is vague what stance India takes on Israel. If they openly supported Israel, the 20% of India who is Muslim would be very angry. Yet, if it was against Israel, it would anger the 70% hindu population as well as the christian and jewish populations in india as well. Also, supposedly Palestine and Israel are both on good terms with India, something which is rare for most countries. Like, usually if Israel is on good terms with a country like the US, Palestine despises that country.
It all depends on who is in power at the time. The BJP government, who represent the fascists – they actually believe the President has to be descended from Aryans and have blue eyes – are strongly supportive of the racist government of Israel.
The Muslims of India, who are millions, believe in human equality and therefore do not believe in supporting Apartheid in Israel. The majority of Hindu and Christians are also opposed to Apartheid anywhere.
