What 70′s progressive rock guitar God…?
…was once a member of a 60′s psychedelic band. They had a minor psych hit in the UK in 1967, and that same song was covered again in the 70′s by Scottish hard rock band.
Name the prog guitar God, the band he was in, and the Scottish band that re-worked their song! Add any other pertinent info if you feel the need!

Joy S – Bon Scott, Angus and Malcom Young (AC/DC) were born in Scotland. But technically AC/DC were an Australian band.
Bon moved to Australia in the early1950′s, and the Young brothers moved there in the early 60′s.
Also, Chuck Berry was never in a 60′s psychedelic rock band. Nice try though!
OH WELL, TIME FOR ANOTHER HINT I GUESS! THE 70′S SCOTTISH HARD ROCK BAND TOOK THEIR NAME FROM THE SONG ‘THE WEIGHT’, BY ‘THE BAND’.
PS. I knew it was Nazareth but…I got it..HAHA..Steve Howe,later with Yes and others.the band was Tomorrow,the song…”White Bicycles”..sounds like Syd was visiting between trips ’round the country-side.
