24 Finale Only Kind Of Delivers, But Will The 24 Movie Make Up For It?
“24″ season 9 is a reality that Jack Bauer, as awesome as he might be, couldn’t torture into happening. The “24″ movie? That movie won’t be out for a while, even though it is listed as “in development”. It’s been a very rough eight days for Jack Bauer and his fans – but will the “24″ movie do better with the story than the “24″ finale?

As per usual for the show, the “24″ finale was just a little insane. What was surprising is that, unlike every “24″ season finale or “24″ finale theory, Jack’s reasons were rather murky. Jack’s motivations are usually pretty easy to figure out. Stop the bomb, kill the bad guy, save the world. A combination of revenge and unclear motivations marred the finale, though. This particular storyline makes as much sense as the president offering advice on the best personal loan rates to Jack. The morality tale of “24″ this time certainly pushed the boundaries.
’24′ season 9?
If you want to watch more “24″, season 9 isn’t going to be reality. Jack Bauer has been given a forced day off. If you want more Bauer, you’ll just have to spend the money to get the DVD sets – and help fund the “24″ movie.
’24′ the movie
“24″ isn’t over just because the “24″ series finale is over. There are currently plans for a “24″ movie. The final script for “24″ is still being written. Once a final script is written, “24″ the movie will be produced for a 2012ish release. The real worry of fans, though, is if “24″ will do the series justice. Part of the reason “24″ was so fun to watch was that everything happened in real time. The power of “24″ comes from that real-time storytelling, and a movie will have to stick to three hours.
