Piano Chopin

Piano Chopin
Do you think it is messed up that Frederic Chopin named a song black keys and used c flat on the piano or b?

I personally could have made the song sound just as nice without using a b. What are your opinions on this?

First of all, since no one is singing in this piece of music, it’s not a “song.”
It’s a “piece” or a “work” or “composition” . . .

Second of all, he could have named this piece of music anything he wanted and it would not change the fact that it’s great music. So I don’t think it’s messed up.
Are you really saying that you could improve a Chopin etude?

Now to get to your point,

He didn’t name it “black keys.” He named it “Etude number 5 from opus 10.”
It’s referred to as “black keys” because the right hand which carries the melody for the whole etude is written entirely in black keys! And it sounds amazing!
Yes the left hand has some white keys, but that’s not important.
