could somebody please help me find the name of this song? it used MC shy D’s sample for the chorus…?

The song came out in the summer of 2003 and it was a sample used in the chorus…MC shy D used the same sample in his chorus of his song called “GOTTA BE TOUGH.” The sample sounds like september from earth wind and fire. Kind of like this: Bah Dee Yah, Bah Dee Yah, Bah Dee Yah – Dee Yah Dee Yah – Dee Yah Dee Yah, Bah Da Bah Bah Bah… Sounds like Philip Bailey singing or something. PLEASE HELP!

can’t pinpoint your answer but i know that song and i forgot her name. all i know is that the singer has a patch over her eye and she is a black r&b artist from the 90′s.
