or do they do the whole thing over again? or is he scot free.
He is most definitely not off the hook. If his attorney’s are smart and they get him to listen they will most likely seek a plea bargain with the prosecutor’s office. If they do have a new trial they will most likely allow the jury to find him guilty of a lesser charge so they can avoid another mis-trail. He should plea un-intentional manslaughter as he will get at least that in his next trial.
