Performer Vol
Classique Métropolitain?
After unsuccesfully searching the internet madly for information on the music of Classique Métropolitain – a group of young musicians playing around the city of Paris – I think mostly Place des Vosges – I now need your help! I want to buy their CD’s!
I have some publishing information form a CD that says CDCM 23 on both the disk and the enclosed folder. And Made in France; SNA; Tourouvre on the disk itself.
There are no names of the performers. I looked up CDCM on the web and it seems to be
Consortium to Distribute Computer Music associated with the University of Texas and other US universities. It does have some Japanese and Italian disks, but I didn’t see ours. I don’t know what the 23 means because on their site Vol. 23 is not our CD. Here is a link to their web site: http://www.music.unt.edu/CDCM/.

I’ve managed to find a link to them ( if you can read French ! ) – it basically says that there are nine members in the band – 3 women and 6 men and they play music around the subway (tube) stations of Paris – known as the Metro(Politain) – their main influence is Mozart’s 25th symphony.
