Miami Holidays To The Winter Music Conference
Of all the US states, Florida is one of the best holiday destinations because of the diversity of what is on offer, from wildlife parks to sports teams, and some of the best theme parks in the US. The main destinations for domestic and international holidays to Florida are Orlando, the Atlantic Coasts and Miami, which is on Florida’s southern tip near to the Everglades National Park. With warm weather in the spring, consider heading to the Winter Music Conference in March for a music festival unlike any other.
For lively holidays, there is no better destination in Florida than Miami, found in the southern region of the sunshine state. You’ll find some big events taking place in Miami, particularly in the music and art industries. The biggest and best of the city’s offerings is the seven day Winter Music Conference which starts at 9am on Tuesday the 8th of March. The event is a non-stop party and goes on for a full week, so try to pace yourself.
The Winter Music Conference has performances from the biggest dance acts from the past and now, including dance legends like Paul van Dyk. Both are nominated for awards at this year’s headline event – the International Dance Music Awards. One of this year’s biggest dance anthems, Barbara Streisand by Duck Sauce is up for a couple of awards too. This year’s IDMAs look set to be the best ever, with some incredible acts booked to play. There are some big names up for international awards including the Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta, who will also be performing.
For those that were looking for something fun to enjoy during the spring months, the Winter Music is a great choice for affordable late holidays. Big events like the IDMA’s together with all day raves and parties mean that visitors will have fun whether they are big dance and electronic fans, or just tourists looking for a good time. For the more serious dance music fans there are record swapping and collecting events around Miami. Make sure that you head to one of the infamous pool parties that begin on the first day of the festival – the 8th of March.
