What is the orientation of the members of OMD, and what’s the story behind the song “A Little Respect”
A friend of mine once told me that all of the members of the new wave band OMD (Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark) are homosexual.
Is that true?
And what about their biggest hit “A Little Respect;” was it written from one man to another? Is there a story behind that song?
OMD members Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphreys, & Martin Cooper are presumed to be straight as they are or have been married to women.
The Erasure song “A Little Respect” was written by Andy Bell and Vince Clarke. Although Bell is openly gay, Clarke is straight.
