When can I start my baby on rice cerel more than once?
My daughter is 5 months and we started her on rice cereal a month ago. Right when she turned 4 months. We have been giving it to her only once a day ever since. So I’m wondering when can I start giving it to her more than once a day? And when can i start on other foods like carrots and pears?
Most docs now say no cereal till 6months, their bodies have a hard time processing it before then. there is no nutritional value to baby cereal. it’s a filler food.
Carrots and Pears and baby foods you can start at 6 months, but it’s just practice. baby will get all she needs from breast milk or formula.
i never used cereal w/my kids, it’s bland and has no nutritional value so i just didnt bother.
