8 month old sun conures regurgitating to eachother?

I have a pair of 8 month old sun conures. Today I noticed they were regurgitating to eachother and a long stringy substance came out. I was just wondering if they’re too young to actually be regurgitating?

they are maturing and practicing for parent hood but birds will be GAY so until you see an egg its play time?
