Mozart Sym
When did Mozart write or what was his first great piece and first masterpiece?
I know he started writing at the age of 5, and i listened to his first piano piece and it was just nice, not genius, but then like his sym. no. 40 was a perfect piece of music IMO…
But anyway I’m doing a report on him and I don’t have an ear for classical music, I want to know:
-considerably his first -great- piece
-considerably his first -masterpiece-
He wrote from the 1760s (he was born in 1756) . You might mention Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (A little Night Music) in your report. It was a serenade written towards the end of Mozart’s life. I would go with his G Minor Symphony as first masterpiece. (It’s the opening to “Amadeus”)
