Mozart Concerto
What’s the difficulty of Franko’s Cadenza to Mozart Violin Concerto 3?
I know the Mozart is around a level 6 or so, but what level is Franko’s cadenza?
I played violin for 3 years, so I’m just wondering where I’m at.

It is also around level 6. While it contains quite a bit of double stops, they are all reasonably violinistic and therefor easier to manage.
It is not easy rating all violin rep on a scale of 1 to 10, since there are many “sub levels” For example, if you played one piece from each level before moving onto the next, you would kill yourself trying to play Wieniawski Concerto No. 1 (level 10). Really, you would find it impossible to keep going long before you would reach level 10! Each level needs to be filled in a bit before moving on, so even though the cadenza seems harder than the concerto, they are still within the same level.
