Can my alternator handle it?
Hey! i have a 1993 Toyota Camry (v4) with a stock 80amp alternator. I want to run a
INFINITY 1600A CAR MONO 1-CHANNEL AMPLIFIER
Which is 600 watts at 2 ohm. Im just wondering, is this safe for my car? I also do not crank the volume, i keep the volume at low, it is very rare that i crank the volume 
Please help!
600w rms of music power isn’t much of a load due to the dynamics involved with music and relatively small amt of time spent at high volume.
If you were dealing with an electrical appliance of kind that required 600w continuously, then you may have a problem.
