Mendelssohn Bruch

Mendelssohn Bruch
Which violin concerto should I learn first?

I am an accomplished violinist and I’ve been playing for 10 years. I just finished learning Mozart’s concerto #4 in D major. I am in the process of picking a new concerto to learn, and have narrowed down my list to Bruch’s concerto in G minor, Mendelssohn’s concerto in E minor, or Wieniawsky’s concerto in D minor. Which seems around the level of the Mozart that I just finished, or are they all at about the same technical level?

Perhaps start with the last movement of Mendelssohn and work backwards. Even though it sounds flashier and requires faster playing, I found it easier. From the first phrase, the first movement is full of intonation and phrasing difficulties. I think you will find it very satisfying to learn the concerto this way.
