RCA to audio jacks. 5.1 support?
I just bought some new 5.1 speakers (Logitech X-530) and I would love if I could run true 5.1 audio on these beasts. The standard import for these speakers is 3 male 3.5 audio jacks (no other ports).
I have 2 normal RCA cables (red & white) delivering my audio import which is then converted via an adapter to the 3x 3.5 audio jacks which goes to the speakers. Does this set up limit me to only left & right sound instead of 5.1? If so, what does my center front speaker output- left or right?
To get true 5.1 audio from an Xbox, you need to buy the Xbox game console adapter from Logitech, otherwise you simply listen to stereo.
