It’s Lorin Maazel’s last season. What will next season be like under the baton of Alan Gilbert? Anybody have insight to this individual. Obviously raised under “fiddle sticks” as both parents are/were violinists in the NY Phil. and his sister is a substitute there as well.

Joseph Pereira left his position at Associate Principal Timpani and went to the LA Philharmonic as principal. Good for him.
