Live Recordings

Do you enjoy listening to ‘Live’ music recordings?

I don’t understand why people buy live music recordings. The music quality isn’t as good as the ones recorded in a studio and the sound of the audience hampers the sound of the music.

I don’t like those random live recordings uploaded by people with crappy cameras, but I do love when my favorite bands release proper live recordings (such as video DVDs) because it’s been designed to minimize the noise of the crowd.

Plus, it shows how talented the musicians really are. I’d be interested in knowing if they can truly play and sing well or if it was all studio trickery.
