Who do you think is the best rap producer?
For years i’ve been thinking DJ Premier is the greatest producer of all time. Now lately i’ve been listening to other great producers who i already knew, but I didn’t pay so much attention to.
Who do you think is the best rap producer? I think it’s one of these: DJ Premier, RZA, J Dilla (Jay Dee), Pete Rock, The Alchemist.
I know Premier uses the same technique over & over again, but I think it’s timeless. I’d like to hear your favourite producers in order and why you think he is.
