Diferences between Italo disco and synthpop?
They sound almost the same to me :S But i read is not the same genre.
Italo disco is a continuation of disco. It is fundamentally music for dancing. Tracks are generally long.
Synth pop refers to pop songs that utilize synthesizers. It is much more closely related to pop and pop rock, and tracks are not necessarily released to be played by DJs.

The Italo tracks feature distinctive synth lines and drum sounds, while the synth pop places more importance on the vocals, and verse-chorus-verse structure. There is overlap between the genres, but they are distinct.
