Junk Food- Everyone Loves It
It is a sure fact that nearly everyone loves junk food, so what are the negatives and what are the positives (if any) to eating it?
Negatives
Starting with these first, not to put anyone off the food but just so we can save the best bit till last.
Lack of Energy
This is going to be the one negative that can actually be stopped as it is only short term and can be put to an end if you stop munching down. After a while we can start to feel a bit weakened because junk food does not give us the nutrients we need to carry on.
Concentration- A Lack Of
This although mainly long term, can sometimes turn into something a bit longer lasting. If your junk food meal has a lot of oil in it you will start to feel very tired which of course then makes you unable to concentrate. The thing is, oxygen is not passing through your bloodstream it can actually haver an effect on the brain cells.
The Awful Heart Disease
This is easily going to be the one that the big companies are concentrating on the most. This is used in almost every anti-junk food campaign simply because it can kill. What happens is plaque forms within the arteries which then makes the heart work a lot faster than it usually would so the blood coming in is a lot lower.
Positives
These are very hard to find indeed and the only plus side to eating a lot of junk food is that it tastes a hell of a lot better than a salad! It would seem that the negatives certainly out way the positives. Junk food has been proven to raise the mood of a person, so I guess that is another plus side to it.
As long as you have junk food in moderation there is nothing wrong with it, my personal choice is to go to my favourite Indian restaurant.
