How do I reinstall my vinyl shutters on my house?

The shutters were held on with little plastic/vinyl pins that sort of look like screws. Basically, the flat part on top broke off, causing the shutter to fall off of the house. I’m not sure if I will be able to remove the old pins; if not, how do I reinstall them?
I guess I should also add that the shutters are on vinyl siding.

you can get the new pegs at any vinyl siding supply house. they have to be predrilled which should be no problem. if the old pegs are still in the hole just drill them out. don’t use screws because you will have to make new holes. the old holes are to large for screws so you would have your new holes plus the 4-6 old holes.
